Dandiwal : A jatt clan from Malwa

      A family name is a person's personal name which passes to new born baby from their family. In most cultures and countries the family name is used. The father's name or an ancestor's given name is used in its original form. Especially, In Punjab and the Malwa region of India, many surname's are used in Jatt clan. So, I am talking about Dandiwal,ਦੰਦੀਵਾਲ دندیوال दंदीवाल surname, Which was created in the Sirsa (Haryana). According to a Writer S. Neta Singh, in "Khalsa Saajna Ank", He wrote, The Rajput Elders of this community, came from Nagarsar ( a place of Jodhpur, Rajasthan) to Village Rorhi near Sirsa (Haryana). There this community's family were lived and the Baba Bhundar make a village Bhundar on the bank (DANDI) of Ghaghar river. Then they known by Dandiwal and Bhundar on the place of Chauhan-Jatt (Rajput). Chahal and Cheema surnames also came from Dandiwal surname.
      Saint and Poet S. Dhian Singh (1856-1945) , Wrote in his poetry "Twareekh Bhundar wa Gurusar" that Baba Peera (Dandiwal Chouhan Jatt) and Baba Gurbakhsh ( From Village Maraaj, Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji's battle place ) were died in the battle of Sri Muktsar Sahib at the age of 90. He also wrote in his poetry abt Dandiwal's. :
                     ਦੰਦਾ ਮਾਰ ਘੱਗਰ ਦਾ ਪਾਵਨ /
                      ਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਦੰਦੀਵਾਲ ਸਦਾਵਨ /
                                                -"ਤਵਾਰੀਖ ਭੂੰਦੜ ਵਾ ਗੁਰੂਸਰ "
